Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following an attempted commercial burglary in Poole.
At approximately 11.55pm on Friday 17 October 2025 officers were called to reports of an attempted burglary at Rockets and Rascals in the Sandbanks Road area of Poole.
It was reported that a group of three to four people, who were dressed in dark clothing and wearing face coverings, attempted to gain access through the outside of the shop through the window without success. It is believed that they then left the area in a large van and a small black car.
Police Constable Heather Anderson, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out detailed enquiries into this attempted commercial burglary and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or anyone with CCTV covering the surrounding area.
“I would also urge motorists who may have been driving in the area at the relevant time to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that may assist us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250154474. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111. | ||
